Spotted this strange poster on 14th St. yesterday, and I gotta say I’m a little baffled. It seems to be a record, a light bulb, and maybe some other symbols.
Stranger yet, it was far above eye level — about 6 feet off the ground.
Anyone know what this poster is? Some kind of strange ad? An art project? Discordians at work?
I’m inclined to agree with the vandal here: what the fuck is this mystery box attached to the light pole? It doesn’t seem to have any wires sticking out. If it’s electric it must have a battery… or maybe it’s using one of those wireless power things like in an electric toothbrush charger.
Or maybe it’s just an empty plastic box.
Regardless, the box is a mystery. Do you know what it is? Drop me a line. Otherwise I might have to go out there with a screwdriver and find out the hard way.
