It never worked that great on mobile which I&#8217;ve heard is kind of a big deal now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new layout is not radically different, although some things may be slightly broken &#8212; and hopefully others much <em>less <\/em>broken. Most notably if you&#8217;re browsing on smaller or narrower screens, the stuff in the sidebar will now appear at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"842\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-1024x842.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9579\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-1024x842.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-300x247.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-768x631.png 768w, https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-1536x1263.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.mrericsir.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/new-mriercsir-dot-com-design-2048x1683.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most obvious difference is I&#8217;ve upped the size of the text to match modern screen sizes. The most obvious problem is that some images now overflow. I&#8217;ll eventually get around to fixing those but it won&#8217;t happen immediately. In the meantime, hopefully that won&#8217;t ruin anyone&#8217;s day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ll see how this version of the site ages &#8212; check back in 14 years from now in 2037 and we&#8217;ll see if the world still exists by then.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You may have noticed things are looking a little different around here now.
