But not just any painting, no &#8212; this one depicts what&#8217;s behind it. The trash can, the Muni map, the Well&#8217;s Fargo, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though I should point out that the guy in the painting was not, in fact, waiting for the bus when I took this photo. That would have been a little too weird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Update<\/strong>: On Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/factory1\/status\/495061161914937344\">Factory 1 Design kindly provided details.<\/a> This is part of a project called <a href=\"http:\/\/helloartcity.com\/\">Art City<\/a>, which is renting billboard space for the purpose of displaying art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The piece at 16th and Valencia is by Oakland-based painter Brett Amory.
