They claimed they were going to build it out into a full cafe. Instead they closed it and then closed Bar Bambino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Melange Market <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MelangeMarket\">Facebook page<\/a>, it&#8217;s going to be a cafe. A link to <a href=\"http:\/\/insidescoopsf.sfgate.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/27\/aq-mixes-up-melange-at-the-missions-odc-theater\/\">an Inside Scoop article<\/a> claims this cafe is run by the people behind AQ, that fancypants restaurant that&#8217;s oddly placed in SOMA&#8217;s butthole over at Mission and 7th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does the area really need another cafe? Probably not.
