So in honor of the series finale of On Cinema (or at least, until they inevitably announce a reunion immediately afterwards), I&#8217;ve launched a new website with all the movies rated on the show over the past 16 seasons: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howmanybags.com\/\" title=\"\">HowManyBags.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those not in the know, show host Tim &#8220;New&#8221; Heidecker and frequent guest Gregg Turkington rate movies on a scale of one to five bags of popcorn, except when they forget, or use a different rating system, or didn&#8217;t get around to seeing the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ratings are utterly worthless anyway as nearly every movie gets awarded the &#8220;coveted&#8221; five bags of popcorn, along with sodas and perhaps a collector&#8217;s item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I created this website initially to preserve these invaluable ratings as they were recently removed <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_On_Cinema_episodes\" title=\"\">from this Wikipedia page. <\/a>Something about how it was against Wikipedia&#8217;s rules, I guess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source code for How Many Bags <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/MrEricSir\/OnCinemaRatings\" title=\"\">is on GitHub<\/a>, available under the same open source license as Wikipedia itself. Contributions are welcome; the tech stack is a fairly trivial Jekyll template with Tailwind for styling.
